Friends Who Travel the US in their RV
Doug and Ute, friends of ours, travel in their RV having adventures throughout the U.S. as you can see from her pictures and her email.
"We are still alive and we haven't killed each other yet living so close day in and day out just the two of us. Actually, we are really having a great time. The next segment of our trip took us to Nashville TN, Memphis (Graceland), Branson, MO, Little Rock AR, Wichita,KS, the state of Nebraska to Rapid City, SD where we are currently residing at the Ellsworth Air Force Base. Yesterday we toured the badlands which was just incredible. We also went to a town named "Wall" where Walgreen got started and visited the huge Wall Drugstore.
Today was the coldest day we have had on our trip (56 dregrees) which was actually a welcome one after so many days of heat (106 degrees for many days in a row in Tennessee) and running both air conditioners day and night, even while traveling. Also, today was the first rainy day we had since June. There is so much to see here, like the Black Hills, Deadwood and Custer National Park. We'll be staying here until the day after labor day when all the crowds are gone to visit Yellowstone."
